Professional Asphalt Paving experience in Calgary
Calgary’s asphalt specialists
We specialize in all asphalt roadworks across Calgary.
From commercial parking lots and access roads to driveways and pathways, asphalt roadwork is not a sideline for Commercial Paving. It is our core business. Our full-service asphalt capabilities include sawcutting, excavation, gravel base preparation, hot mix asphalt, and final rolling for a tight, well-compacted mat. When a project requires work beneath the surface, that base preparation is what determines the long-term strength, performance, and durability of the finished product.
We operate our own LeeBoy asphalt pavers, along with a full range of heavy rollers, Bobcats, and tandem trucks. Owning our fleet allows us to keep the crew, schedule, and quality standards under one roof. We do not subcontract our paving work, and our work is completed by our own team and backed by a free workmanship warranty.

Calgary asphalt services
Three core categories. All in-house. All hot mix.
Built for the Calgary climate
Built to withstand Calgary’s freeze-thaw cycle.
Freeze-thaw is the single biggest reason Calgary asphalt fails early. Water gets into the base, freezes, expands, and lifts the surface. Most lots that crack apart before their time were not beaten by the asphalt. They were beaten by water reaching a base that was too thin, poorly compacted, or never graded to drain. We build against that from the ground up.
Grade and drainage first
Before any asphalt goes down, the site is graded to a positive drainage slope so water runs off to drains and away from the surface, instead of pooling, soaking in, and freezing under the mat.
A base compacted in lifts
The gravel base carries the load and has to stay stable through forty-degree swings. Base is placed and compacted in lifts to the project spec, so it does not trap water or shift as the ground freezes and thaws.
Hot mix at the right depth
Hot mix asphalt at the correct thickness for the traffic, compacted with rollers in the proper sequence to hit density. A tight, well-compacted mat resists the cracking that lets water back into the base and restarts the cycle.
